    National Ruins Park of Daming Palace of Tang Dynasty:
    Xi’an, with Chang’an as its ancient name, is the capital of 13 dynasties. On a par with Athens, Rome and Cairo. Xi’an is known as one of the world’s four great ancient capitals. Being the origin of ancient “Silk Road”. Xi’an is famous for its splendid history and plentiful cultural heritages, of which Tang Dynasty was the most thriving and prosperous, compatible and opening-up during Chinese feudalism times. Chinese nation is proud of the historical memory of Tang. Daming Palace of Tang Dynasty, being a masterpiece during this period, its ruins is currently occupying about 3.5 km 2 area and its palace ruins cluster possesses the extant largest scale and the most complete layout.
    As the imperial palace and one of the “Three Great Inner Palaces” (Taiji Palace, Daming Palace and Xingqing Palace) of Tang Dynasty in Chang’an city, the Daming Palace was situated at the second terrace of Weihe River alluvial plain in Central Shaanxi Basin and the third terrace partially, between 108o56′30'-108o59′10' East Longitude and 34o17′-4o18′30' North Latitude. Also located in the Longshou upland of Chan’an city. It has a high physiognomy and magnificent verve, and it belongs to the Continental Monsoon Climate of East Asian Warm and Humid Zone. The Ruins of Daming Palace is one kilometer far from the north of Xi’an city wall of Ming Dynasty. The total area approximates to 3.2 km2.
    As a primary object to study ancient China and the palace architecture in East Asia, the Ruins of Daming Palace of Tang Dynasty is quite unique among Chinese and World ruins.
     
    Tang Dynasty Show:
    The first performance of the show will be a Tang Dynasty instrumental ensemble entitled “The King of Ever”. During the performance you will see various Chinese musical instruments which are no longer in use. The piece celebrates the appreciation of the people towards their ruler who has brought peace, wealth and tranquility to the kingdom. At Royal Banquets, the court musical masters played this grand number to praise the Emperor, and to wish him a long and happy life. It is hoped that the magnificence and wealth of the Tang era will be conveyed to you through this vivid and lively performance.
    In the Culture Dance Segment, the White Ramie Cloth Costume Dance was choreographed as a demonstration of the flowing quality of Ramie Cloth, which was invented by the Chinese some 1,5000 years ago.
    The Da Nuo, is a sorcerer’s dance meant to expel epidemics and ghosts and to solicit wellbeing. During the Tang period, this masked dance would be performed in the courts and among the noble people every New Year’s Eve.
    The Rainbow Costume Dance is a very famous dance from the Tang Dynasty. According to legend, the Emperor Tang Xuan Zong had a dream. In his dream he traveled to the palace of the moon, where he saw celestial women, clothed in feathers and rosy clouds dancing in the sky. After the Emperor awoke, his favourite concubine Yang Gui Fei, renowned as being one of the four most beautiful women in Chinese history, choreographed and performed this dance according to the Emperor’s recollections.
    The Warriors Triumphal Dance was the Emperor of Tang in 627-649, he had been given the title of Prince of Qin. With his artistic talent both in music and dance as well as his military ambition, he composed this dance to express his vision of the power, sonorous and forceful spirit of his commanding troops.
    As for the Instrument Musical segment, you will enjoy a unique and incredibly complex hand-plucked stringed instrument musical called the “Happy Spring Outing”. Our musical masters will demonstrate their superb skill by playing captivating melodies to praise the graceful beauty of the early Spring. This scene depicts the lifestyle and customs of the noble classes as they gathered along Qujiang River outside ancient Chang’an to celebrate the New Year and the great prosperity and harmony of the Tang Empire. Mr. Gao Ming, who has won many national and provincial awards, is internationally recognized as the premier performer of the Pai Xiao, a three thousand year-old instrument. Mr. Gao performs the “Spring Orioles Song”, which originated during a Tang Emperor’s accession to the throne when, during the ceremony, a flock of Orioles flew over the emperor’s accession to the throne when, during the ceremony, a flock of Orioles flew over the emperor’s head. The emperor was so impressed by this good luck sign that he ordered his court musicians to compose music for the Pai Xiao which would imitate the sounds of these majestic birds.
     
    Dumpling Banquet:
    Dumplings, or Jiao Zi as they are known in Chinese, are among the most representative foods in China. Perhaps the most famous dumplings served are in Xi'an of northwest China's Shaanxi Province. The Xi'an Dumpling Banquet is well known for its rich assortment of dumplings with different tastes and styles.
    Usually dumplings for the Xi'an Dumpling Banquet need to go through six procedures before they can be served. The filling consists of various meats, chopped vegetables and seasonings, resulting in the flavors such as salty, sweet, hot and sour. And there's almost as much variety in the cooking methods used. They can be steamed, boiled, pan-fried or roasted.
    People who taste Xi'an Dumpling Banquet have had a deep happy memory. This is not only because its beautiful styles and delicious taste, but also because it includes plentiful cultural intension.
    'Baochuan steamed dumpling', it uses shepherd's purse and pork as filling, draws its material from the legend of Wangbaochuan digging shepherd's purse in the south of Changan city.
    'Black Rice steamed dumpling', uses the black rice as filling, draws its material from the legend that Zhangqian dreamed Wenqu, found black rice and went to the Western Region.
    'chrysanthemum chafing dish', waiter or waitress boil pearl dumpling like the size of smallest finger in front of the guest, then, distribute to every people. When guest taste the pearl dumpling (more or less), they will get blessing related with number:
